The Urban Development Institute (UDI) is recognized as the official voice of the land development industry and serves as a forum for knowledge, advocacy and research on land development, housing and urban affairs. UDI Alberta has chapters in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, Wood Buffalo, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Cold Lake.
This is the first conference held by this organization in recent history and it formed the foundation for a yearly education initiative. We addressed current industry challenges and provided timely information and tools to help position for the inevitable turnaround. In addition, this conference provided a welcome province-wide industry networking opportunity.
